Family Adventures

My cousin Katie and I have been taking sewing classes together. We made these cute pillows. Our next project is skirts. If we ever get around to it. Hint Hint :)               

My mom and I took Noah to Mary Poppins. It was so good. The backdrops were amazing. They even had a guy walk up the wall and on the ceiling. It was one of the best broad way plays. 

This is a cool park outside of the theater it has a bunch of metal rods that the kids can swing. Here he is playing with his friend Cadence. 

I couldn't get him to smile for nothing. Little stinker!

Noah had the opportunity to hang out with his friend Gabriel at McDonald's. he loved it. What kid doesn't love  McDonald's?

The 4TH

 I love the 4TH of July. I've always been very patriotic. My dad instilled patriotism into me. Mostly because he was in the Air Force.  I was always taught to respect the flag and our freedoms. I had the opportunity to work at an AFB and I really got to know the people that are fighting for our freedom. 

Karly so excited about her glittery lipstick. My cousin Katie and my aunt Eileen paid for my kids to get their faces painted. My kids were so excited. This was the first time they have had their faces painted. 

The wonderful children's parade. This was my first year riding in it. I had no idea what those kids go through to get to the end. I was hit by several kids, my kids were almost ran over by others. I also had to swerve a few times not to hit kids. It's all kinds of CRAZY!! I didn't know Jared was taking this picture so sorry I'm not looking.

Freedom Fire

I love the fireworks in Logan. I seriously think they're the best ones I have ever seen. They play patriotic music and they seem like they last FOREVER. We have made it a tradition to go every year. My kids love it. It makes me nostalgic to live in Logan every time I go. I miss USU so much. I seriously have the best memories from USU. I am trying to ingrain in my kids that they need to go there too. It was such a fun school and I made the best of friends up there.

Splash Pad Fun

My old Roomie Amy and I decided to meet up since we hadn't seen each other in what feels like FOREVER!! It was good to chat it up and let our little ones play. Our kids are all about 1 year apart. So they had fun.



Amy was kind enough to let my kids indulge in the snacks she brought for her kids.



Elise is a mini Amy. I think they have the exact same eyes and face. She's going to grow up gorgeous like her mother. What am I saying she already is gorgeous. Her eyes are electric blue. I have never seen eyes like hers. They are a so pale and really unique.
