9 months already???

I took Karly to the doctor today for her 9 month check up. She is.......

• 90Th percentile for her weight 20lbs 13oz
• Over 90Th percentile for her height
• 50Th percentile for her head.

She has been sick lately so we had her checked for RSV as well but the test came back negative hooray!
She has learned to do patty cake. We catch her doing patty cake in front of the television all the time. She has also learned how to dance a groove to music.
She has 4 teeth on top. 2 on the bottom. She has started eating solid foods and loves food as you can tell by her weight. Her favorite are french fries. She is a great sleeper. She has slept through the night since she was 2 months old. She is so close to crawling. She can get up on her knees and rock but she hasn't started yet. THANK GOODNESS. Then they are into everything. She can pull herself up on things though. Which is scary because then she could fall especially in her crib. We are loving this girl.

This little boy got a haircut. So he wanted me to take his picture. When he smiles he shuts his eyes. I think it looks better than the mop that used to be on his head.

ThE BiG ThReE!

Noah turned the big three or how he would say it thee. He can't say his r's quite yet. This year we did the tool theme because Noah is really into tools. His grandpa has a tool shop and every time we visit he likes to go and play in the sawdust. I can't believe my little baby is three oh how time flies.....

Today Noah went fishing..... He was soooo excited he caught the biggest fish. I just love his lion hat. When I take him to the store people laugh when they see him in it. He doesn't realize that they are laughing at him. I think this might be the last year he'll be able to wear it before it starts to embarrass him.

My new obsession....

I belong to a book club blog and this was the book my friend Amy chose. If you are looking for a good read... This is the one. I couldn't put it down. I think this is going to be the new Twilight saga. There is one more after this one and the final one is coming out in August. I talked to the guy at the library and he said they are thinking of making it into a movie. I also told my mom about it and she got her hands on a copy and read it in two days. I read it in 5 I have kids... You know the drill I can't let my house totally fall apart. Thanks Amy for a good read. I can't wait to read the next one..... Yeah

POT!!! BIG 30....OLD!

I figured I had better hurry and post this..........My Friends are so CREATIVE... Look at what they did or should I say how creative Jennifer is????
They took my name and gave me an item for each letter of my name. Rootbeer(R) Icecream(I) Krispy Kreme Doughnuts (K, K) My cake was an I (I). Pretty Awesome Idea Jennifer!
Then Jennifer came up with this great idea to chew gum balls and make gum art on my face...

Then Jennifer came up with this great, creative, idea to play a game of Pot. The best game ever.
Jenny couldn't resist putting more money in and more money in and more money in.
However this was the BIG WINNER! She won almost every time.
The POT!! Poor Amy she was the next winner. So close sorry about the 11 dollars.....

Christmas

It's January and I am just barely getting around to posting about Christmas. I haven't been very good about blogging lately because I'm just not in the mood. I love reading others blogs but mine I just am getting sick of. I know I need to post because my kids will want to see these pictures one day but I'm just not motivated to post. I'll will try to be better.She looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
Noah got a jeep for Christmas and he was sooooo EXCITED!

This is Karly and her cousin Parley it is amazing the difference in their size. I can't believe the difference between a couple of months.
My in laws have a party every Christmas Eve where Santa comes and brings gifts to the kids. The kids Love it!

Are you kidding me? Karly wasn't so sure of Santa.

Noah loved Santa this year. He realized Santa brings presents :).

Our New Years wasn't so great. We didn't get to go to any New Year's Parties :(. That putrid stomach flu visited our house. Noah got it first then me, Karly, and Jared was last. I am a germ FREAK! I carry hand sanitizer with me everywhere I go. I don't like germs if you saw my hands right now they are raw. I am one of those people that wash their hands continually if I hear someone coughing or see someone with a runny nose I run away. I just don't like GERMS! During the swine flu epidemic I wouldn't go places because I was scared to death and you could have called me and I would have told you everything you needed to know about the Swine Flu. I watched the news twenty four seven on every update that was available Okay maybe not 24-7 but close.So this virus really surprised me because I kept Lysoling my entire house and everyone got it. Usually only one or two of us get it so I was surprised it must be some super bug. By the end of it I was so sick of cleaning up puke.
