Jolee's Blessing Day

We were able to bless Jolee with her name at church. I actually used the dress I was blessed in. My aunt Eileen is very talented and she made the blanket for Jolee.  She looked so sweet and was good throughout the blessing. We were so blessed with all the family that came to her blessing. We had a get together after at our house and it was nice to visit with everyone and catch up.

Preschool Graduation

I'm back at work full time so I wanted to keep my little girl busy. She has a tendency to want to watch TV all the time. So we decided to put her in two preschools this year. I found a preschool close to my home and it was amazing. The other preschool is the preschool Noah went to up in BC and I've loved it as well. I do however think it was a little much for Karly. She was so tired on a lot of the days. But she is WELL prepared for Kindergarten. I think she will excel. She is already reading so well, I'm afraid she might get bored. 

 Karly had to recite the ABC's without singing them She is not a public speaker but she made it through and I think the more she has to get up and speak the better she will get at it.

Kindergarten Graduation

My little boy graduated from Kindergarten. He did such a great job in his program. He is such a sweet boy. Noah is my peace maker. He is a protecter of his younger sisters. He wants to make everyone feel good. If you're having a bad day he's the first one to come and love on you and make you feel better. Noah makes wise choices too. He's not afraid to stand up for what he believes in. He can talk to anyone in fact his teacher told me that no matter who he sits by he becomes friends with them and talks to them all the time. She said she can't get him to stop talking. Must take after me. Next year he will enter the dual immersion and learn Spanish in 1st grade. he is so excited because then he'll be able to speak in a different language. 

Karly's first year of Dance

I loved dancing when I was a child. In fact one of my regrets in life is that I didn't stick with it after Jr. High. We moved to Texas and I had to give it up. I always wanted to keep doing it but my highschool didn't have a dance team. I'm hoping that Karly will like it as much as I did. We found an excellent company. The teachers are strict but that's how I think dance should be. It shouldn't be a social meeting. If I'm paying I want my daughter to learn. Everyone's different but that's how I feel. This was her first recital. She was so excited to be able to wear makeup for the first time. She did such a great job. She was super nervous and I was afraid that she would get stage fright but she didn't she got right up there and performed perfectly.

 Her dance required a loud growl. I think that was her favorite part.

1 Month Old

Jolee was 1 month old on May 8, she is starting to hold her head. She turns her head toward noise and is starting to track things with her eyes. She is starting to become aware of who her family is. Her big sister loves her but I think Jolee is starting to sense when sister is around and starts to cry. 

Jolee Newborn Pictures

I had Jolee's newborn pictures taken. I signed up to have them taken while I was still pregnant. During the session Jolee pooped all over everything. I was so embarrassed but what do you do? Jolee also got the opportunity to be a baby model for a photographer that has taken our pictures before. She was teaching a class to other photographers and I got to have some free shots. So Jolee got to have two different newborn shots. Here are a few of them.
