Christmas

It's January and I am just barely getting around to posting about Christmas. I haven't been very good about blogging lately because I'm just not in the mood. I love reading others blogs but mine I just am getting sick of. I know I need to post because my kids will want to see these pictures one day but I'm just not motivated to post. I'll will try to be better.She looks like a deer caught in the headlights.
Noah got a jeep for Christmas and he was sooooo EXCITED!

This is Karly and her cousin Parley it is amazing the difference in their size. I can't believe the difference between a couple of months.
My in laws have a party every Christmas Eve where Santa comes and brings gifts to the kids. The kids Love it!

Are you kidding me? Karly wasn't so sure of Santa.

Noah loved Santa this year. He realized Santa brings presents :).

Our New Years wasn't so great. We didn't get to go to any New Year's Parties :(. That putrid stomach flu visited our house. Noah got it first then me, Karly, and Jared was last. I am a germ FREAK! I carry hand sanitizer with me everywhere I go. I don't like germs if you saw my hands right now they are raw. I am one of those people that wash their hands continually if I hear someone coughing or see someone with a runny nose I run away. I just don't like GERMS! During the swine flu epidemic I wouldn't go places because I was scared to death and you could have called me and I would have told you everything you needed to know about the Swine Flu. I watched the news twenty four seven on every update that was available Okay maybe not 24-7 but close.So this virus really surprised me because I kept Lysoling my entire house and everyone got it. Usually only one or two of us get it so I was surprised it must be some super bug. By the end of it I was so sick of cleaning up puke.

I hate to brag......

I was watching Studio 5 the other day and my good friend Jenny Frame's name came on. They said that her famous mitten project was their number one hit for the year of 2009. It had more hits than any other segment they have had on their show.Way to GO JENNY! You ROCK! If you missed it here it is again.

She said her next segment may be her lingerie bubble wrap. I think she will get a lot of hits on that one too! HA HA!! (P. S. She gave me some for my wedding and they were my husband's favorite.)

Sesame Street Live/6 months old

Jared got Noah tickets to Sesame Street Live. We had tickets on the front row and Noah absolutely loved loved it. He danced and got to shake all the characters hands. He LOVES LOVES ELMO so he had a great time seeing all of his favorite characters.

Karly is now 6 months old. She is the BEST baby ever. She sleeps through the night. She started when she was 2 months old. She basically only cries if she is hungry. She is just a HAPPY HAPPY baby and is the easiest baby ever. She now has her two bottom teeth. I just love love love having a girl. The accessories are the best here are some of my favorite.

National Adoption Month

It is national adoption month, and one of the most amazing peeps I know is Sara she has had to go through so much. But in the end she has gotten the cutest little girl. If you ever get a chance you need to check out her blog. Read her story. There are so many people out there that are wanting to adopt. I think she wants more too if you know of anyone who is in a situation of considering adoption.

Army

My brother Cole decided to join the army and become a medic. We are all pretty sad about it. It wasn't something that my family really wanted but he had already signed up so there wasn't much we could do about it. He is in Fort Knox Kentucky right now. He was supposed to go to South Carolina and they told him about ten minutes before his flight that he was going to Kentucky instead. I guess when you sign that contract they own you. We have gotten one phone call from him it was about 10 seconds long and he told us he is some what safe. None of us talked to him so we didn't get to ask him what that means. He just left a message on the phone. He'll be in Kentucky for basic until the end of January and then he'll go off to medic training in Texas. We love him and wish him the best.
