Halloween 2010

This year, Noah was the cowardly lion and Karly was Dorothy. Noah absolutely loved trick or treating. He went in the rain with his cousins,his dad, and uncle Norm. He got so much candy. Karly just loved having trick or treaters come to our door.

Sick! Sick! Sick!

Can I just say how much I HATE the stomach FLU bug right now! Noah started throwing up Sunday night at about 2 am. Jared was away on a hunting trip. So I got to clean up throw up with a screaming baby in the background while I cleaned up all the remnants. Then Monday he had the other, Tuesday he had the other, Wednesday he had the other, it was absolutely DISGUSTING! I gave up on using the potty and went to diapers because let's face it who wants a mess like that on the floor? So I bought a brand new package of diapers Wednesday morning and I counted how many diapers I had to change that day 17, Can you believe that SEVENTEEN!!!!? I was at my wits end. That night I had to drive up to the school and make lesson plans for the next day. Then last night he started throwing up again.Today he still has the other. I just feel like I am at my END! I am now making sub plans for tomorrow too. Why does this all have to happen around the holidays? I feel so bad for him. I don't want him to miss trick or treating. This is the worst stomach flu, I have ever seen. Usually I feel like I'm going to die after one day of it. But 5?Now I'm worried the rest of us are going to get it. WHOOOOO! Boy that was a garbage load, but I had to VENT!

Fall Fun

Look at what a difference a year can make. This was last year at the same pumpkin spot.

My mom puts up her annual Halloween decorations and this one is Noah's favorite. Karly likes it too. She kisses it every time she sees it.

I love Fall. The weather is always nice and there is so much to do. We took the kids to the NICU reunion at the hospital. It was so much fun. I enjoyed seeing all the nurses that took care of Noah. They even remembered him. One of the nurses and I are really good friends from being in the NICU for so long. It was good to catch up with her.

Noah is a lion this year for Halloween, when he puts on the costume he really believes he is a lion. He runs around the house making growling noises.

We took the kids to Black Island Farm. It was really fun. There is so much to do there and the kids had such a great time. Noah got to feed the llama.
